On Monday, October 20, 2025, Resolution No. 568/2025 (the “Resolution”) issued by the Ministry of Infrastructure was published in the Official Gazette of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires (“CABA”). Through this Resolution, the Ministry authorized the national and international multi-stage public tender for the engineering, construction, and equipment works of the Subway Line F (the “Line F”).
This project falls within the framework of the implementation of the Integrated Urban Mobility System (“SIMU”), whose purpose is to improve mobility within CABA and its metropolitan area by reducing congestion on existing lines and shortening passenger travel times. It constitutes one of the most significant public works projects in the country, with an official budget of USD1.350.000.000 (US Dollars One Billion Three Hundred Fifty Million).
Within this framework, the construction of a new route is planned, linking the neighborhoods of Barracas, Constitución, Recoleta, and Palermo along 9,8 kilometers, connecting the current Lines A, B, C, D, E, and H, as well as the Constitución train station. The design includes a total of 12 new stations, in addition to interconnection tunnels and other supporting facilities.
Below we highlight the main aspects of the Resolution:
* Nature of the tender. National and international multi-stage public tender.
* Official budget. USD1.350.000.000 (US Dollars One Billion Three Hundred Fifty Million), with a 20% advance payment.
* Project execution term. 60 months counted from the date established in the Commencement Certificate.
* Inquiries regarding the General and Specific Terms and Conditions. Inquieries shall be submitted until April 16, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. through the Buenos Aires Compras online portal (“BAC”).
* Submission of bids. Bids may be submitted until April 22, 2026, at 12:59 p.m. through the BAC portal.
* Bid opening date. The opening ceremony will take place on April 22, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.
